A mock auto accident staged at Gateway Regional High School gave students a look into how devastating a drunk driving accident can really be. The event was coordinated by the student council and kept a secret from the entire school until the day the students walked out to view the scene. With the careful planning and training of the MSP, HPD, HFD, and HCAA the students got a realistic feel of how serious these accidents can be.
CBS 3 Springfield also covered the mock accident on Monday nights news at 6.

Crime Scene Management class will be held at Gateway Regional High School.

There will be an in-house con-ed class April 27th @1200. The purpose will be to review significant calls, and also to review the use of equipment. Further to follow.
In honor of EMS Week, there will be an open house at the HCAA office May 18th @ noon. Further information to follow.
The HCAA is in the process of taking applications for Per-Diem Intermediates. The current openings are for day shifts (8a-4p), and the pay scale is satisfactory. Interested parties are to forward a resume and cover letter to HCAA, Service Director, PO BOX 351, Huntington MA 01050
I will be calling ALL EMTs to fill overnight voids. Please see if there is a night that you could cover.
EMTs are welcome to speak at the Board Meeting of April 15th @ 5pm.
Tomorrow nights BBP class is going to be postponed until Saturday March 22 at noon.
